Clawing its way from my subconscious
It traps my screams beneath my tongue
It's lonely reeling creature form
Slithers where my head is hung
It rises up from in my chest
Devours my every thought and hope
It swallows me from down inside
Its tail becomes my rope
The noose that fears my broken neck
I struggle, gasp for air
And as I strain, my dying breath
It drags me to its lair
