Open me up, give me peace
That I may sort, find Clarity
Despise me not, she says of I
For if you ask, I'll tell you why
I want to speak, to know the words
To find solace in every verse
Listen, she says, you I tell
Honor thy verse and know it well
Be careful of the words you use
For words have power to imbue
Open, close, it's all balance
To find the answer, you must ask
I will move, simply allow...
The answers come where I follow.
Question everything, lesson in all
Interpret only by what you saw
Observe yourself, know your ways
And you will see by your own rays
Open, close, forget ye not
Intent in will, your Self by thought
Interpret all things as you Will
Thy Self in motion, standing still
Open, close, it's all control
To discipline, myself I hold
West and East and North and South
For Truth to shine from every mouth
A world apart, but by your hand
Truth told of woman, and of Man
Truth be told of your lips in form
To set aside things they adorn
Desire and worship, arbitrary
I will not let those things ensnare me
Open, Open, Hear me out!
To no religion I devout
But to myself, Oh! I must sing!
Glory to Nature, myself I bring!
It emanates from just above
To ruminate resounding love
I see, but yes; to let them see
That which I Myself must bring
And so I know to start anew,
Intent and power, myself imbue!
Sometimes silence speaks much louder
So give and take and use your power!
Light yourself, and self accept
And serve yourself a mind adept
Open, Close, for you must save
Your Self if you are lead astray
Bad or Good; they don't exist
Interpret it, and don't resist!
Open, Open, purge it out
Yourself if you are lead to doubt
Existential, as you call
Humor takes to your footfall!
Smile and laugh, it's good for you!
And Humor to My Self imbue!
Sound and sight, to see and hear
And know no harm shall cometh near
Echoes, hear them, always know
You leave an echo where you go!
Claim no idea as your own
Ideas are for everyone!
Open, Open, use your Gifts
By rhyme and reason, My Self I lift!
So find your way, help others, too
Love and power, myself imbue!
